Our Mission
Paws and Claws Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization that will carry out the mission of raising funds that will go towards the care and treatment of unplanned and unwanted animals. These funds will also be used to educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering, quality pet care, responsible pet ownership, and the prevention of cruelty to animals. We will work in conjunction with local animal shelters in placing animals in loving homes, reducing the euthanasia rate, and providing second chances to animals in need.
Angie More
Founder of Paws & Claws Animal Rescue, Inc.

When Angie isn’t running transports, fostering, or making trips to the vet, she is tending to the “More Family Zoo” in Hebron where she resides with her husband, Matt. Angie and Matt’s “zoo” consist of dogs, cats, and fish. Both Angie and Matt share the same love and passion for animals. Angie recently became certified to be a dog trainer and has recently started her own dog training business. Outside of rescuing and training, Angie loves to go kayaking, hiking and camping. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, she jumps at a chance for a nap, or curled up with her dogs reading books by her favorite author Karen Kingsbury or any sort of book that pertains to animals.
Anne Smith
Board Member

Although Anne Smith has a busy schedule as a practicing attorney in downtown Cincinnati, she looks for ways to give back to the community. Anne, along with her two teenage sons and her husband, adore their affectionate kitty Romeo, who gets along surprisingly well with their Betta fish, Beast! Anne feels very fortunate to be able to contribute her time and legal skills to this very worthy cause.
